ADDICTION UNPLUGGED is a well-timed documentary Television series that travels across the country taking a compelling and powerful look inside the world of addiction and recovery in the midst of the worst opioid crisis in US history.
The show humanizes addiction and recovery and reduces the stigma and shame attached to addiction.
ADDICTION UNPLUGGED focuses on people, companies and organizations that are making a difference - people helping people recover and saving lives, teaching in innovative ways how to get sober and giving second chances.
Season One of the show is an education, awareness, prevention, and solutions-based campaign that chronicles how some of the most significant organizations in the private and public sector are battling this epidemic and also brings to light some inspirational stories of people in recovery (“the human side of addiction”).
Each episode of ADDICTION UNPLUGGED will have a specific theme ranging from: Ohio - Ground Zero of the Crisis; Music & Recovery; A Father’s Request (Corporate Responsibility); Wounds of War; Addiction in the LGBTQ Community; Motherhood and Addiction; Adventure Therapy (Jayson Williams story); First Responders; A Second Chance (Mike Lindell story); and Addiction in the Inner City.
